An art student that is desperately trying to get rid of that occupation.
A sometimes reluctant writer and secret poet.
A little womanist, a little feminist, a little dark humor, a lot of time, a little money.

Old work.
That’s quite enough of the old stuff now. Maybe time to dig up the newer things.
Old work. Kind of unfinished.
Meh.

Found one!
An unfinished one from that skelo- set.
This one is strange. I like it a lot.
It’s inspiring me.

Let’s Go by Mike Reedy
A lot of artists’ sketches are almost more interesting than their finished compositions. This recalls The Woman With Flower Head drawing a bit…
Venus by BlueFooted
I love her work. :) Most of her pieces are fully rendered, but I have a thing for contour lines, even in my own work. Once I had a professor refuse to let me render because he liked my line quality so much. I think her line quality far supersedes mine…for now. :)

Going through some of his work again, this drawing reminds me of Dawn by Odd Nerdrum. Maybe it’s because of the repetition. It’s creepy in that sort of way that Nerdrum’s painting is.
By the way, interesting fact: Odd Nerdrum and I are somewhat connected. One of my closest professors did an apprenticeship under him. Ha! Everyone knows everyone…! Sort of… :]
Ha! An actual post! Just some gestures. :]
