    MOJO BAGS
What is a mojo bag, really? It is an amulet of African-American
hoodoo practice, a flannel bag containing one or more magical items.
The word is thought to be a corruption of the English word “magic.”
Other names for it include conjure bag, hand, lucky hand, mojo bag,
    mojo hand, root…

    Hoodoo in theory and practice

I’ve been long interested in hoodoo folk magic. There’s a charm in the mythology and practice. I’m somewhat personally connected to it through my maternal grandmother and paternal grandfather, but that’s a story for another day.

I’m thinking about hinting at some hoodoo folklore in my senior film project…who knows…
